“You got everything you want but you wanted more”

Bellyache is the newest single from British psych rockers YAK and if you are a fan of Thee Oh Sees, Tame Impala or Orb listen up! YAK's new single 'Bellyache' is loud, fuzzy and full of all that psychedelic rock goodness that I can almost guarantee you are looking for in a new favourite psych band.

YAK have been in the scene since 2014 releasing one album along with multiple singles here and there. Lucky for us though, their next album is expected to be dropping early next year with 'Bellyache' being the first single from the new album.

Oli Burslem (vocals/guitar), Vinny Davies (bass) and Elliot Rawson (drums) all work chaotically together to bring us vivid lyrics, riffs that are sure to get stuck in your head, heavy hitting drums and excellent use of the wah-wah pedal, because, would it really be a psych rock song without it?

YAK released this single along with a madly esoteric video clip which is loud, gritty and very visually enticing. It shows how great this band is both with their musical sound and their visual presence.

If you like the sound of 'Bellyache' and want to have a listen to a bit more of what YAK have to offer, give their 2016 debut album 'Alas Salvation' (produced by Pulp's Steve Mackey) a listen you will not be disappointed.
