Darwin based melodic hardcore outfit Tapestry are an act that since day one, have constantly been at the grind, working hard to secure a name for themselves - especially given the circumstances of their locale and the additional financial burdens of which their isolation brings. This has not however deterred them from excelling. In 2018 the band released their sophomore EP ‘Ghost of Me’, which was met with adoring praise and wide approval by Triple M Home Grown presenter Jade Gazzo as well as Triple J presenters Bridget Hustwaite, Dave Ruby Howe and Declan Byrne! In addition, their music saw a total of 283,000 year-wide streams on Spotify! They even managed to score a support slot for Polaris’ 2018 ‘The Mortal Coil’ Australian Tour alongside USA metalcore titans The Plot in You! Needless to say, it had been quite the year for Tapestry!
Now, Tapestry have announced that in Autumn of 2019, they will be embarking on yet another Australian tour, this time as the headlining act! Guests Vacant Home and Whatever, Forever will be supporting the country-wide trek, which will bring the three-act hardcore onslaught to Newcastles Hamilton Hotel, Sydney and Brisbane's respective Crow Bar venues, Wollongong's Rad Bar and Melbourne's Stay Gold Bar.
If you love hardcore music, get onto it ASAP because these shows are sure to be nothing short of a rad time.

In addition, Tapestry have released a short documentary in celebration of this announcement. The three-and-a-half-minute documentary is based on their epic ‘Ghost of Me’ EP hometown release show, and sees the band in reflection of a most unforgettable event; no doubt the product of strategic planning, hard promotion, effective financial backing and admirable self-management. This made it all the more satisfying that the show saw a packed-out audience and absolutely went off!
