Song: Super Saiyan
Area: Cabarita, NSW
“No fabrication, sleep deprivation, stay up all night cause I got aspirations ”
L33ZE is not new to the scene - he has been doing the grind for quite some time and his new release ‘Super Saiyan’ is certainly a milestone for his rap career.
Produced by the late Drew Lavorgna and a close friend of L33ZE, the beat begins simple, and layer by layer it envelops and those dirty UK Grime elements come through. As soon as I heard L33ZE come in with the beat as a whole, I knew I was going to thoroughly enjoy this track.
Drew has not compromised with this beat, it has great elements that change with each section and L33ZE accompanies these nuances by changing and manipulating his flow with the beat, whilst maintaining consistency, making for astounding delivery that ultimately catches you in it's rhythmic nature. The mixing was done by Connor Seige Jones from Melbourne is excellent. The vocals sit perfectly with the mix and each bar flows well.
L33ZE talks about his struggles and how rapping has brought him up and helped him become the powerhouse of an artist he is today; the entendres throughout are impressive and he keeps to the bars while keeping each and every line creative and imaginative. Making subtle references to the classic anime Dragon Ball Z throughout the entirety of the song" I conjure up these spirit bombs and blow the fucking ceilings off". Both L33ZE and Drew loved anime so 'Super Saiyan' is not only an ode to his success but a dedication to his and Drews friendship.
L33ZE isn't 'just another Soundcloud rapper' I have high hopes for what he has in store for us in the coming months as he is definitely a rapper we should keep our eye on.
