“I’ll pick myself up in a couple of years times and I’ll be fine”

There’s no stopping Adelaide favourite dog loving songstress Bec Stevens with the release of her newest single '10 Minute Drive' and her own signature coffee blend to go with it.

'10 Minute Drive' is a powerful song about love, loss and moving on, themes that are quite prevalent in a lot of Stevens’ music. Stevens and her band build this somewhat sombre song up into a ‘scream your lungs out in the car’ anthem for all those going through a tough time.

'10 Minute Drive' is the second release off the new EP following 'They Don’t Build Cars Like This Anymore' which was released in December last year. Stevens launched both the new single and signature coffee blend at HD eatery in Adelaide’s CBD on Saturday, January 19 to an intimate crowd of people. The decision to have it at an eatery seemed to be a step in the right direction by Stevens in trying to change unsocial gig ‘norms’ that many women have to deal with when seeing their favourite band or singer, as well as trying to make it an accessible and safe environment for all.

Stevens is set to release her 6 track EP 'Why Don't You Just', early this month through Hobbledehoy Record Co. This EP is a follow up to Stevens first album 'More Scared Than Me' which was released back in 2016 through Anchorhead Record Co who have also worked with Melbourne rockers The Hard Aches and Foley.

This coffee blend is a collaboration with record label Hobbledehoy Record Co and sustainable coffee legends Monastery Coffee.

Bec Stevens next show is Laneway Festival, Hart’s Mill Port Adelaide playing the Girls Rock! stage February 8th.
