Breaking out of habit

Taking the best of me"

Hard rock duos aren’t the most common of band lineups nowadays, they can be hard to pull off and can limit what a band is capable of producing. Luckily, Colt48 hit the nail on the proverbial coffin with their latest single ‘Out of Habit’ where they flex their muscles to produce a headbanger and a half of a tune.

Following a sold-out launch show in Islington, England, for their last music video release, ‘DIsconnected’, Colt48 are piecing together the puzzle in the lead up to releasing their upcoming EP "Negatives".

‘Out of Habit’ is a strong follow up and gives me vibes from Colt48’s UK relatives, Bullet for my Valentine at times. There are powerful riffs, drums that drive this song through both chorus and verses effortlessly and great clean vocals that have the perfect amount of grit to them to round out the song as a whole. The production is clean and really provides 'Out of Habit' with a thick dynamic that makes you forget you’re only listening to a pair of musicians.
