“Lonely in a crowded room, disconnected, I'm held

hostage by my sanity, A constant state of insincerity,”

Passerby is a new band from Melbourne, featuring  previous members of the band City Escape and this three piece’s first offering off their upcoming debut album is 'Coerce' , mixed and mastered by Callan Orr of Dream on Dreamer at Avalanche Studios, with the vocals being recorded at Abbey Road Studios with Bradley Toan.

This track is heavy from the start, with screams from singer Andrew bellowing throughout the verse.

Once the chorus hits, the cleans from guitarist Jarrod are a nice compliment to the song and a great contrast to the screams. The guitars on this track have a great tone to them with exceptional skills being showcased.

After spinning this song countless time, I’m very interested to see what is to come from these guys. Considering the amount of variation in this group, I’m interested to see how they are going to sound live!

Be sure to keep an eye out for their debut album due out later this year and hopefully we will get a new single in the next month or so.
