"Its not god or death I'm afraid of
But what the ones left living are capable of
Giver of misery, the pain is here to stay
Pure hypocrisy, don't fucking look away"
This 5 piece Australian deathcore band known as To The Grave have just dropped one of heaviest singles of the year.
'Ecocide' is the 4th single off the Sydney bands debut album "Global Warning" dropping November 8th 2019, following ‘Pest Control’, ‘Skin Like Pigs' & ‘Slaughter Forever’.
With 'Ecocide' easily the most mature and well put together single of the four, it has understandably become a fan favourite by many. This could be due to the speedy drums, filthy guitar riffs or even the inhuman vocal skills of front-man Dane. Also if you’re into heavy breakdowns, the whole song will be indeed so satisfying from start to finish.
The music video for 'Ecocide' was filmed in a small photography studio located in Marrickville, Sydney NSW, by none other than the very talented photographer/videographer Elliot Sauvage, who has made a name of himself from working with bands such as Taree metalcore act Diamond Construct & Brisbane post-hardcore outfit Days Like These.
If you enjoy 'Ecocide' make sure you snag tickets to their upcoming tour with South African deathcore/ slam group VULVODYNIA in November, with supports Zeolite & Wraith.
Already garnering a solid fan-base throughout the world, I believe To The Grave are on the path to success and I simply cannot put into words how excited I am for this album to drop. I personally feel that once TTG release their debut album "Global Warning" they are going to BLOW UP, and fast.
Would You Go And See Them 5/5
Personal Enjoyment: 10/10
